Like all Herbaria products, Burano is free of detergents, synthetic fragrances, dyes, enzymes and brighteners, any of which can remain in clothes and bedding. Those harsh additives often cause skin irritation or allergies. Burano is simply our soap odds and ends shredded to dissolve quickly in water. It has the pleasant aroma of natural soap, light scented with essential oils.

Welcome to an extraordinary shower. Luffa soap will quickly become your skins BFF. We’ve incorporated our moisturizing soap into whole natural luffas (also spelled loofah). The ones we use come directly to us from Egypt. Luffa aegyptiaca is a member of the Cucurbitaceae (gourd) family that includes squash, pumpkins and zucchini. When young and tender, sponge gourds are eaten. When mature, they are used for a natural scrub. You will see why luffas have been used for thousands of years. They have a perfect texture for the job: not too rough but just right.

Looking to try a few of our many scents? Every cellophane bag contains six different soap ends. Total weight is close to three regular sized bars. Each stack purchased counts as one bar toward our free bar offer. Sampler Stacks contain random selections. A label identifies the varieties. We don't include dog shampoo or scent-free bars. Although we do not offer custom selections, we will be sure you get different mixes if you order more than one. Where do the ends come from? We make our soap in large block molds. We slice the blocks into logs and then we cut the logs into bars. There are two ends left from each log, like heels from a loaf of bread.

Terrazzo bars are a combination of scraps from any number of our varieties, glued with a cement of our soap. They are heated, tempered and compressed. The rounds hold firmly together and last a remarkably long time. These large bars, at least 7.5-ounces each, are grooved on the sides to grip the wet soap in the shower. Like all of our soaps, a Terrazzo bar will clean and moisturize your skin perfectly.
