Commercial shampoos often rely on harsh detergents and synthetic surfactants that strip natural hair oils. While our Herbaria Shampoo Bars eliminate the need for traditional bottled conditioners for many, hard water remains a reality for most.

The pH balance of our conditioner bars is designed to counteract water hardness, perfecting the delicate balance between your environment and your hair's natural texture.

• Note for Light Hair: The Indigo used in our Scented Conditioner Bar is a natural colorant and may not be suitable for blonde or grey hair.

Clean, Plant-Based Ingredients

We condition hair primarily with Cocoa Butter, which is rich in antioxidants and phytonutrients. Our formula is 100% vegan and features:

• Behentrimonium Methosulfate: Derived from rapeseed oil (canola) to detangle and soften.
• Castor Oil: Provides a nourishing, slick texture.
• Jojoba & Coconut Oil: Penetrates the hair shaft to moisturize and protect.
• Vitamin E: Supports a healthy scalp and encourages growth.
• Cetearyl Alcohol: A fatty alcohol derived from coconut or palm kernel oil that helps oil and water mix effectively.

Incredible Longevity

These bars are highly concentrated and long-lasting. Depending on your hair length and how often you use it, one bar will last for many months when stored in a dry place between uses.

Warning: Conditioner Bars can melt in a hot car or during shipment. Due to this, plastic containers will be used to prevent leakage. If they are softened in transit, place the bar and its packaging directly into the fridge to harden. When firm again, it may be a bit grainy, but it will still work marvelously.
 

Directions for Herbaria Conditioner Bars

1. Rub the bar liberally into soaking wet hair. Focus on ends and dry, damaged hair.
2. Massage and comb through with a big-tooth comb or your fingers to detangle. No lather will result, but a slick texture will be apparent. 
3. Leave in hair for 3-5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
4. Store in a cool, dry place between uses. 

Multipurpose

Herbaria conditioner bars can serve many functions. They are silky and buttery for more than just hair. They can soften skin all over post-wash while still in the bath or be used as a shaving bar.

Scented or Unscented

Our unscented conditioner bar just holds the delicate chocolate smell of our cocoa butter. Our scented bar is tinted with indigo and has the complementary blend of all our essential oil scents in our shampoo bar line. Indigo in the scented bar is a colorant that may not be suitable for blond or grey hair types.
