"Love your pumice bar. I order six at a time. They last and they are the best. I give them to family and friends."

Gritty Bar
What leaves your hands needing extra cleaning? Yard work, painting, auto maintenance—we guarantee you'll find this bar your good friend. Loaded with finely ground pumice, this soap will scour your hands clean. Your skin will feel smooth, soft, even moisturized.
Feel the scrubbing pumice in the lather.
Very Pleasurable
Soothing shea butter is the superfatting emollient in the bar. The fresh, natural scent comes from essential oils of rosemary and lemon.
In the Shower
You may want to keep a bar of Pompeii Pumice™ in the shower, along with your current Herbaria face and body favorite. One of our customers, who tested this bar for us, says, "In addition to giving my feet a gentle pedi-scrub, I love making a lather of Pompeii Pumice in my hands and then washing all over for refreshing exfoliation. Afterward, my skin is satiny smooth and comfortable. No lotion needed."
Compare to Lava Soap
Originally developed in St. Louis in 1893, Lava Soap is currently manufactured by the WD-40 Company, which acquired the brand from Block Drug in 1999, which acquired it from Procter & Gamble in 1995.
Lava ingredients: sodium tallowate, sodium cocoate, pumice, water, glycerin, coconut acid, sodium carbonate, fragrance, sodium chloride, tetrasodium etidronate, pentasodium pentetate, titanium dioxide, chromium hydroxide green, D&C yellow 10.
So, Lava is not vegan, has synthetic fragrance, artificial colorants, suspected carcinogens, and other man-made chemicals.
"I work in a metal shop. I like the way my hands feel after using Pompeii Pumice. Those harsh chemical grease removers leave my skin peeling, irritated, and dry."
Rob S., Richmond Heights, MO
"Our utility sink will have a bar of your Pompeii Pumice on it for as long as you make the soap. Love the clean smell and color."
Sally Fischer, Livingston, NJ
