Smooth Soaps

There's old-time goodness in this all-vegetable Castile soap. Old Fashioned Lye Soap is great for bathing, shampooing, and washing clothes. Its only scent is the pure, clean soap smell. The old soap-making process we use retains natural glycerin. We don't want to brag, but this is probably a finer soap than Grandma used to make. We start with fresh food-grade oils in our bars. Together they make a bar that is moisturizing, that lathers well, and is long-lasting.

Peppermint bars contain unique swirls of Australian pink clay. The clay adds color and  minerals to make a delightful bathing experience for everyone in the family. Creamy, cleansing lather leaves your skin feeling tingly with natural menthol from the oil of peppermint. Peppermint essential oil also provides the dominant scent, which we soften and round out with a touch of sweet palmarosa essential oil. Enjoy inhaling the smooth mint aroma.

The romantic scent of this soap will brighten your spirits as you clean and moisturize your skin. The natural fragrance comes from the essential oil of Egyptian rose geranium. Palmarosa, another rosy-scented essential oil, moderates the sweetness to create a fuller and more complex aroma. The Rose Geranium bar is one of our few floral-scented soaps. We cannot use real rose extractions because they are prohibitively expensive, added only to costly perfumes. And our products never contain synthetic fragrance oils. Soothing, and gentle enough for sensitive skin, this soap promotes the body's natural ability to balance oil production. We add French pink clay not only to create the lovely pink color but also to provide its softening and conditioning qualities. Our emollient in this bar is avocado oil.

Liquid detergents and most pump hand soaps dry skin out. Our solution: a fabulous utilitarian bar that moisturizes your skin no matter how often you wash your hands. Sink Side Kitchen Soap quickly removes grease, dirt and germs. It rinses off in a flash. The bar has a light, fresh, herbal scent from essential oils. Synthetic perfumes in most dishwashing liquids cling to your hands and can end up in your apple pie. Use Sink Side Kitchen Soap also to clean fruits and vegetables, like those apples for the pie or a lemon before zesting.
