Soapys Choice is scented with canine-friendly essential oils: lavender, peppermint, cedarwood, tea tree, lemon eucalyptus and geranium. We add moisturizing jojoba and neem oils, emollients that assure a clean, healthy, shiny coat. How to use Soapys Choice Rub the wet bar over your dogs wet coat. Work up a lather and massage the suds into the fur. Avoid soap in the eyes or deep in the ears. Rinse thoroughly. Repeat the wash and rinse if you like. Stand back for the shake-off, then towel dry.

We chose this specific fir from many possible evergreen oils because of its soft, lovely balsam-like fragrance. To fully develop the bouquet of the soap, we added lavender and a touch of cade (Juniperus oxycedrus)—a smoky, cedar-like essential oil we hadnt offered before. We know many people love our Evergreen bar, which LaRee created years ago. It is an extra-exfoliating bar with oatmeal and seaweed. Silver Fir and Lavender is a smooth, creamy bar with French green clay. In color and scent, Rosy Bouquet comes closest to the fresh bloom of a pink rose. It is musky, sweet, spicy, and heady. We have created this complex scent and beautiful color using six essential oils and pure henna oil. This bar has been years in the making because genuine rose oil would be far too costly to use in a soap and our products never contain synthetic fragrance oils. The henna oil we use is different from the powdered henna used for hair color and decorative skin art. We have not seen any sign of staining on skin or washcloths. Rosemary has a long history as a favorite fragrance. Some time in the 1300s, it was the key ingredient in the famous perfume, Hungary water. Legend tells of a queen of Hungary, who, wearing the fragrance at the age of 72, captivated the King of Poland in a romantic liaison. For the next 500 years, until the French started producing eau de Cologne in the Eighteenth Century, no other herb enjoyed the popularity of rosemary either as a scent or as a natural remedy. No wonder one of our most beloved soaps is Rosemary. We blend three essential oils to create this scent. It is predominately rosemary but tempered with lavender and softened with rose-like palmarosa. Your skin will love the Rosemary bar as much as your nose. Finely crumbled rosemary leaves add a bit of texture. A healthy dose of hemp seed oil provides a lavish moisturizer.
